THE CHALLENGE:
A complex Grade II listed historic structure on Steyning High Street requiring a full measured survey and BIM model to support a sensitive planning application. Irregular geometry and restricted access made traditional measuring impractical.
OUR SOLUTION:
Archidata deployed 3D laser scanning to capture the full interior and exterior as a coordinated point cloud. Data was processed into a Revit BIM model and coordinated CAD drawings, layered and structured to the architect’s standards.
THE OUTCOME:
Planning submitted without delay and approved first time. The survey integrated directly into the design workflow with no reworking required.
