Hidden Basement Discovery — Seafront Property, Brighton
THE CHALLENGE:
During an interior survey of a residential property just off the Brighton seafront, Archidata’s thorough approach uncovered a previously unknown basement. The find completely changed the scope of the interior design brief.
OUR SOLUTION:
Archidata extended the survey to fully capture the basement space using 3D laser scanning, producing accurate plans, sections and a 3D model of the previously unmapped area, all delivered in the designer’s preferred AutoCAD format.
THE OUTCOME:
The interior designer incorporated the basement into a dramatically expanded scheme. The client received a significantly more valuable property, and the designer described it as ‘the best surprise of the project’.
