Widewater Lagoon, Lancing — Waterside Garden Survey
THE CHALLENGE:
A complex waterside plot at Widewater Lagoon in Lancing, with significant level changes, flood risk zones and a critical relationship to the adjacent lagoon. Accurate level data was essential for Environment Agency compliance.
OUR SOLUTION:
Full topographical survey using GNSS and robotic total station equipment, capturing levels across the full plot including tidal influence zones. A 3D terrain model was produced in SketchUp format.
THE OUTCOME:
Accurate design with no level-related issues during construction. The scheme fully satisfied Environment Agency requirements.
