Rural Diversification β Agricultural Barn Conversion, West Sussex
THE CHALLENGE:
A West Sussex farmer sought planning permission for the conversion of a range of redundant agricultural barns to residential and small commercial use as part of a wider farm diversification scheme. Accurate measured surveys and topographical data of the yard and access road were required for the planning submission.
OUR SOLUTION:
Archidata carried out measured building surveys of all relevant structures, a topographical survey of the surrounding yard and land, and a longitudinal section of the proposed access road. A complete, coordinated dataset was produced in AutoCAD DWG format ready for the planning agent.
THE OUTCOME:
Planning application submitted with a complete survey dataset. Approved at first submission. The survey data was subsequently used for detailed design of the conversion scheme.
